Kasey here! So I am not longer herding sheep. Mom said until I can "Get serious" and "stop acting like it is one big party" out there, I can't go back. She said that I do not have seriousness that is need to work. I agree with that. Why be serious?
A couple of months ago, my mom took me to a class at a place called
Wags-n-Wiggles in Lombard, Illinois. The class is taught by Julie
Oskerka. She teaching a class called Click Your Heels. It is for dogs that need focus around other dogs. Focus? Whatever! Anyway, I loved it because we did lots of free shaping. I am a shaping addict. I love it. It something in front of me and have a clicker in your hand, and I go to work. Mom thinks it has been really good for me because I am getting in touch with my working ability. I really don't think of it as work. We are now done with the class, and we help out with one of Julie's classes on Monday nights. Sometimes if there are friendly dogs in the class, I get to play afterward. Most of the time Mom brings Sue (ugh) and we play afterward. Most of the time during class I just sit in my crate and watch class, but after awhile, I gotta work so I just like to give a bark to let mom know that I am there. I have always enjoyed being helpful.
